On August 20, at the PVF Football Academy – Ministry of Public Security (Van Giang district – Hung Yen province), the Vietnam People’s Public Security Sports Association held a ceremony to launch the Hanoi Public Security Football Club for the 2024-2025 season, honoring and rewarding collectives, coaches, and athletes with outstanding achievements in the People’s Public Security Sports, and at the same time, launching the People’s Public Security Basketball Club and the People’s Public Security Pickleball Club.
At the event, GELEX Group was honored to receive the Diamond Companion title from Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security, Chairman of the Vietnam People’s Public Security Sports Association, in recognition of the positive and effective contributions of Group to the sports movement of the People’s Public Security force.
Speaking at the event, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang emphasized that in recent years, physical training and sports work in the People’s Public Security has achieved many impressive results. Although some teams have just been established and started operations, they have achieved commendable results.
Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang expressed his gratitude for the coordination, support and facilitation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Sports Authority of Viet Nam, the federations, the National Sports Association, and the Sponsors for the physical training and sports work of the People’s Public Security; hoping to continue to receive the attention and support of the units in all aspects of physical training and sports work of the People’s Public Security force, with the aim of making the People’s Public Security sports one of the leading units of the national sports, contributing to the development of professional and high-performance sports.
The cooperation of GELEX as well as many businesses with the Vietnam People’s Public Security Sports Association and the Hanoi Public Security Football Club creates more resources to organize many practical activities, preparing the best resources to help the People’s Police Sports achieve high performance in domestic and regional tournaments. At the same time, it also contributes to bringing GELEX’s image closer to the public and fans.
