This announcement was made by Vietnam Report on January 8 in Hanoi, honoring companies with exceptional revenue, profits, stable business performance, and sustainable growth during the 2023-2024 period.

The “Top 50 The Best” ranking has been published by Vietnam Report since 2015, featuring companies selected from the Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Vietnam (VNR500), based on key criteria such as revenue, profit, total assets, and total number of employees.

This marks the second consecutive year that GELEX Group has been included in this ranking, alongside major companies such as the Oil and Gas Group, Vingroup, Viettel, MB Bank, and Agribank, etc.

Ms. Nguyễn Hồng Nhung, Director of the Communications Department of GELEX Group, received the honor cup and certificate for “Top 50 The Best”.

At this year’s announcement ceremony by Vietnam Report, GELEX and its member companies, including Vietnam Electric Cable Corporation CADIVI and Viglacera Corporation, were also recognized in the top 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam.

After nearly 50 years of establishment and development, CADIVI has become one of the oldest manufacturers of electrical wires and cables, holding the most market share in Vietnam and receiving national brand certification for consecutive years. In the context of a challenging economy and increasingly fierce competition, CADIVI continues to strive for sustainable investment and growth. In 2023, total revenue reached VND 10,084 billion, demonstrating a growth rate seven times higher than the time of its equitization in 2007, and nearly double compared to 2015, when GELEX Group was restructured.

In response to the unpredictable fluctuations of the market and the increasingly diverse demands of consumers, CADIVI has proactively invested in researching new products, modern machinery and equipment, and enhancing existing production capacity to boost business activities.

GELEX has been recognized as one of the 50 outstanding enterprises in Vietnam for 2024.
CADIVI offers the solution of “Green Living – Safe Living” for every Vietnamese household.

As a result, CADIVI has expanded its product range from domestic wires and medium and low voltage power cables to specialized and environmentally friendly cables, including super heat cables, solar cables, airport runway lighting cables, low-smoke, non-toxic fire-resistant cables, and electric vehicle charging cables. This not only helps CADIVI maintain its leading position in the electrical wire and cable segment but also creates competitive opportunities in the international market.

Within GELEX’s strong brand ecosystem, there is also Viglacera, a leading brand in building materials manufacturing and industrial park development in Vietnam. Since 2016, Viglacera has been included in the VNR 500 rankings due to its continuous efforts to develop production, enhance competitiveness, and innovate.

The company has made in-depth investments, upgraded its technological lines, and particularly focused on green technologies, creating building material products that meet environmental friendliness criteria. Currently, Viglacera’s green product ecosystem is perfectly constructed, featuring a complete range of products aimed at the green consumer market that is environmentally friendly. Examples include energy-saving glass, large-format tiles, sintered stone with an internal vein, ultra-white glass, PVD-coated faucets, and smart sanitary ceramics. Products belonging to the Green ecosystem reflect long-term investment efforts in development, capturing and responding to consumer trends in accordance with international standards.

In 2024 alone, Viglacera was granted investment certificates by the government for two new industrial parks: Song Cong II Industrial Park (Thai Nguyen) and Tran Yen Industrial Park (Yen Bai), with an additional area of 550.83 hectares.

According to Vietnam Report, companies in the TOP VNR500 represent the key driving forces of the Vietnamese economy, aiming to honor large-scale enterprises that maintain effective production and business operations, demonstrating resilience in the face of unexpected fluctuations from the international context and the slowing growth of the economy.
