After nearly two months of implementation, on the morning of October 8, all renovation items were completed and officially handed over and put into use.
The above renovation project includes 6,000 m2 with 20 patient rooms fully equipped with modern facilities at the A9 Emergency Center and nearly 2,000 m2 at the Stroke Center of Bach Mai Hospital. GELEX also support replacement of entire air conditioning, ventilation, lighting systems, freight elevators, etc.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan – General Director of GELEX Group said that GELEX Group’s business activities always attach social responsibility, especially in the fields of Health, Education and Human Development, through practical actions.
Mr. Tuan affirmed: “Adding more resources to hospitals helps people have more access to high quality medical services. In particular, we also want to contribute to creating an effective working environment for the medical team, always responsible and passionate about the career of treating and saving lives.”
Bach Mai Hospital – Hanoi is the last line hospital in the North, with the most stressful and “hot” working pace in the country. The A9 Emergency Center alone is considered the “front line”, receiving from 250 – 300 patients, of which 70% are seriously ill.
The companionship and sponsorship of GELEX Group has helped the hospital rooms of A9 Emergency Center and Stroke Center to be more fully equipped, more comfortable, ensuring privacy and quiet space, helping patients and their families feel more secure during the treatment and recovery process. In addition, the improved working environment will help the medical team to be more excited and secure in their work, thereby maximizing their expertise and dedication to their work.
Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co – Director of Bach Mai Hospital expressed his deep gratitude to the Board of Directors and staff of GELEX Group.
“You have shared your food and clothes with Bach Mai Hospital so that we can have a modern working and treatment environment and help the ultimate beneficiaries, the patients, have wonderful experiences. We are committed to exploiting and using it for the right purpose towards the goal of providing the best care and treatment for patients,” Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co emphasized.
This is the second time GELEX has sponsored Bach Mai Hospital. Last May, GELEX also supported the entire cost of renovating the Stroke Center, which consists of 3 floors, with a total floor area of nearly 300 m2, with many patient rooms and 10 modern hospital beds.
