GELEX Group sponsors medical equipment for Hanoi Pediatric Hospital

On June 12 in Hanoi, the Hanoi Department of Health chaired the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding on sponsoring and donating medical equipment between GELEX Group Joint Stock Company and the Hanoi Department of Health – Hanoi Pediatric Hospital

According to the memorandum of understanding, GELEX will sponsor the purchase of medical equipment for Hanoi Children’s Hospital – phase 1 that under construction in Yen Nghia Ward, Ha Dong District, Hanoi. Total expected maximum sponsorship value is VND 130 billion.

Leaders of GELEX Group – Hanoi Department of Health – Hanoi Pediatric Hospital signed a memorandum of cooperation, June 12.

Hanoi Pediatric Hospital was started in early 2023, expected to be completed and put into use in October 2024. The hospital has a capacity of 200 inpatient beds in phase I (2021-2024).

Dr. Nguyen Dinh Hung – Deputy Director in charge of Hanoi Department of Health spoke at the ceremony, said: “The memorandum of understanding between the parties is the first step to realize GELEX Group’s sponsorship package for Hanoi’s healthcare industry. In the context where businesses today face many difficulties, we highly appreciate GELEX Group’s responsibility to the community and society. These spiritual and material values ​​will facilitate reducing the number of pediatric beds in general hospitals in the inner city, while enhancing the ability to serve the community medically.”

The parties commit to make efforts to well implement the contents of the memorandum of understanding.

Regarding the sponsor, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long – Deputy General Director of GELEX Group affirmed: “In addition to production, business and investment activities, GELEX always focuses on social security, especially in the sector of education and health. With this sponsorship and donation, we hope to contribute to supporting the Hanoi medical industry, and specifically Hanoi Pediatric Hospital, in improving the efficiency of medical examination and treatment and practical health care for the people…”.
